Musicians representing 18 countries and 16 Indian states will come together in Bengaluru for the Brillante Piano Festival organized by Chokkapan S. The vibrant cultural scene of Bengaluru embraces all forms of arts and culture, as stated by Khyochano TCK, a Naga pianist, who brought the festival to the city. The event aims to foster unity and shared vision among artists worldwide. Started in 2017 in Kohima, Nagaland, the festival will feature performances, workshops, competitions, and masterclasses across various genres including jazz, contemporary, and classical music. A special focus is put on inclusivity, as highlighted by the Specially Abled Musicians (SAM) platform. Khyochano emphasized that the festival celebrates admiration for artists with special abilities rather than treating them as objects of attention. The recent street piano event held at Church Street showcased community engagement through music, demonstrating the power of creative expression to unite and uplift diverse communities.
